Secretly Sexy

As a rule I don't let anyone look through my ipod. Especially not my working-out playlist. Too many songs that bring me guilty pleasure.

Today I was working out and feeling all good about it. Thoughts like, "Yeah!" were basically dominating my brain activity.

Blame it on endorphins, blame it on my general lack of a sensor, but before I caught myself I was singing, "Bringin' Sexy Back" out loud. (Out loud!)

I didn't even notice until I looked up at the mirror and saw the guy next to me staring. I looked over as nonchalantly as possible, gave a small nod and said, "hey."

He didn't say anything.

I went back to cycling and after a small grace period, left.

Not completely because I was embarrassed (I was), more because someone knows my secret that I know every word to "Bringin' Sexy Back".

Don't worry about me Mom. Your other daughter used to have it as her ringtone.

I don't think there are actually too many words in that song are there? It's ok to feel sexy. You should have blown that guy a kiss.

hahahaaaaa!!! I think it would've been awesome if you'd winked at him and said "that's right."

I am laughing out loud - at work! That guy doesn't know what he's missin'. In 20 years, when he's bored with his wife, he'll think about the girl in the gym that wasn't afraid to sing about bein' sexy :)

Haha! Love the morning laugh Ande. Now I'm so curious what your other guilty pleasures are. Justin Timberlake is a good one!! :)

So funny you called Cali out just to make it even playing ground again. Too funny.

Maybe he was thinking, "look at that total fox that can sing about how hot she is while she works out. What a babe."
Sometimes I sing. And my playlist consists of songs MUCH worse than Sexyback.

Since you feel the need to call me out... maybe I'll divulge the other songs on your iPOD. I know... because I've SEEN your iPOD. Or, maybe I won't because I'm pretty sure you looked SO SEXY on that bike. Unlike me... T-Shirt with wet armpits, hair slathered back, gym shorts (need I say more).

Ande, I love you. I love hearing about your adventures... because a LOT of your life is one big funny story.

So...
I've joined the world people call blogging. I owe most if not all of this decision to your coaxing.
I love you and miss your face.
I need an update on your life.
Thoroughly enjoyed your JT bonding as you both brought sexy back in that beautiful exercise moment.
