My Day with Alexander

I didn’t realize my day was so bad until I called Mom and told her about it. She laughed and told me I should write a book about my day. “It could beat Alexander,” she said.

It’s true. In the last picture of this book Alexander ends up hugging someone he loves. Sunshine, crayons, and a blanket are all present.
My day ended with me throwing up. No hugging. No sunshine. No crayons.
I won. Or lost. Either way I plan on ditching Alexander tomorrow.

Oh Ande,
I'm pickin' up what you're puttin' down.
Hope today is MUCH MUCH better. Being an adult means you can buy your own crayons, and Australia isn't SOO much of an impossibility :)

Did you have Alexander beat in the hair department? Look at the cover... his hair looks like a rat's nest. I bet you had stunning hair yesterday (you always do). Stunning at least until you barfed in it. I liked Renny's insight that Australia isn't quite SOOO impossible. Maybe you and I should think about running away to Australia. I'm going to bring Ray along too, though.

I'm sorry you had such a rough day, but I sure enjoyed your post. I remember in 6th grade, Mrs. Claassen had a rule where you could use one "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" Pass per quarter. It basically was a "I had a horrible day so I didn't do my homework" pass. I think every teacher should have those. Wow, that was completely unrelated. I hope you didn't drop any eggs though.

Perhaps your day can rather end with exciting blog comments. When I get an email announcing a new blog comment, it's like a present in my inbox. Hope tomorrow is better :)
