Charlotte

It's spider season in our house and they are busy weaving inside and out. I've left their webs in place and have been checking them periodically because I'm just sure I'll find, "Some Woman" written in spider silk. "Terrific" or "Radiant" would also do.

No luck yet. But I'm keeping the webs around just in case a spider starts feeling complimentary.

Which really just means I haven't cleaned my corners in while.

SOME WOMAN indeed! Long live Charlotte's posterity.

Grandpa Payne would be so proud of you for not killing them. My kids often quote him in saying "spiders are our friends". But being a Charlotte has not given me the talent to spin webs......although I can spin a good yarn on occasion!!!!

What will you do if one of them spins "wash me"

I guess you won't have to wait for kids and a dirty rear car window to get that, then.

I loved this post

Encore!

Long live Charlotte!! I love it! Especially since I just started listening to Charlotte's Web to get my final summer read in for my free wildflower seeds. :o)
